Re: frequent nose bleeds
Tue, September 22, 2009 - 5:43 AMIs the air particularly dry? I tend to get really dry sinuses in the winter, when heaters start blowing. A neti pot flush once a day, or even a bottle of saline nasal spray might help.

Re: frequent nose bleeds
Tue, September 22, 2009 - 10:59 AMNose bleeds, varicose veins, easy bruising, strokes, plaque in arteries, etc. all are related in that they are indications that blood vessel walls are thin and weak...i.e. scurvy...or lack of vitamin C. Of course there could be other issues, but I suspect that increasing your vitamin C intake couldn't hurt. You might google Dr Matthias Rath--he has written a lot on this subject. -

Re: frequent nose bleeds
Thu, October 15, 2009 - 4:23 PMOf course, remember the most basic cause of dryness. . .. water water water. As the fall hits, its easier to forget your fluids. . .so make sure you're drinking enough water. Nose bleeds can also be a sign of an imbalance in your blood, as someone mentioned, so make sure your iron intake is up to par, and you might want to consider seeing a doctor if it continues to continue.
