it depends how sensitive one is as to how long it takes. I have found that there are some herbs which focus more on the yang part of libido, like ginseng, maca, and some focus more on the yin part, like Shatavari (Indian wild asparagus)Ipomoea digitata (Indian wild yam). Both are necessary, one needs both functionality and fire (the yang component) and enough liquid, and fluid (the yin component) if either one is lacking then it wont work, the kidney chi is closely connected to the sexual and also has a yin and yang component. Other herbs which are great for Libido are:Mucuna pruriens, Kaunch, Withania somnifera,Tribulus Terrestris), Yohimbe (Pausinstalia yohimbe)Maca (Lepidium meyenii) Epimedium, Cordyceps.

Dates, almonds, ghee, figs, milk, honey

      I second Ananta's recommendations / information

dare I add.....self pleasuring even if it doesn't result in orgasm. whether it be while in the bath, with appropriate
ambiance setting or lying in bed and creating a sensual dream - both of which could evolve into masturbation.

this was something I did as therapy when I was coming out of my depression and it really worked (in addition
      to supplementation and therapy)

Wonderful suggestions thus far. IMO, a high quality Maca is the best, easiest and most effective approach. It actually adapts to the hormonal needs of your body. Still, it's essential to discover and address the CAUSE of what you're experiencing, which is most likely tired adrenals. Maca nurtures the adrenal glands, but lifestyle changes and stress management techniques are usually required too. It's a holistic approach that works best.

    it's smokable, thus quick 'release'.
another plant for you raspberry leaves
oh, not Yohimbe (more for men...)

    try tantra, etc.
