Hiya Folks, i had someone write me to inquire about hepatitis c, and what nutritional and herbal measure can be taken to ease the symptoms, and work with the hep in the liver. If any of you have some experience with this, please do share with us. I will come back at the end of the evening and add my 2 cents, but i wanted to see what our tribe of experienced persons has to say... :)
Thank you, Flint.

Re: Hepatitis C
Wed, September 30, 2009 - 3:57 PMI've seen quite a bit of info on hepatitis and liver-related herbs at Kiva Rose's site. Just these two searches for "liver" and then for "hepatitis" bring up quite an amount to pour over. I found particularly her "bitter differentials" to be focused on the liver. I'm sure you're already familiar with her site, just thought I would mention it.

Re: Hepatitis C
Fri, October 2, 2009 - 10:06 PMDid you know.
I have a friend that was hep C positive for a decade or so, his immune system actually got rid of it eventually, the odds are 1 in ever 10000 peoples immune systems beat the disease. Pretty amazing hey. Before that I was under the impression anyone who had it, scored it for life. Anything that helps improve the immune system would be a bonus, I guess anything else would be a liver cleansing herb. Avoiding toxins, or products like alcohol would be a must. As always different things work for different people, especially in the herbal world.
My old mate Phil, was a different kettle of fish, he recons he killed it by smoking like a chimney, drinking like a fish and taking way to many drugs. Some people are just plain lucky. -
